A: Absolutely! We offer makeup for any event or occasion! Please inquire today about what you're requiring makeup for and let us provide you with all of the information you need!

Q: I love your work and want to book you, what next?

A: A signed agreement and a 50% retainer from the total amount due is required to reserve your date. Please be advised that no date will be reserved until the contract has been signed and the retainer has been paid. This retainer is non-refundable.

Q: What is the difference between traditional and airbrush makeup?

A: Every type of makeup has it’s own pros and cons. Every makeup artist will have their own opinion on what they prefer to use on their clients. Ultimately, it all depends on your personal preference. If you can’t decide between the two, do a trial with both and see what you’re most comfortable with. Almost 80% of all clients of ours choose and prefer airbrush.

Airbrush is a light-weight liquid makeup applied through an air gun and compressor that produces a thin, even layer of makeup in a spraying motion. It is the most HD (high definition) foundation created. The fine mist of color covers the skin and gives the appearance of a flawless complexion. Bri Stein Artistry will mix foundation colors for a perfect blend to match your skin tone. Airbrush is ideal for clients who are not used to wearing makeup or prefer a more natural finish and feel. Airbrush makeup is sweat, tear and transfer resistant and photographs beautifully. Airbrush makeup is not to be confused with the ever so popular "airbrush" tool used on the program "photoshop" to smooth texture of the skin. Airbrush makeup will even out skin tone, but does not correct texture problems with the skin such as pores, acne, moles, scars etc. Other products will be applied to smooth out the skins texture as much as possible if texture is an issue.

Traditional makeup is a Liquid, cream, and/or pressed powder that is usually applied with a sponge, brush or finger tips. Traditional makeup comes in the widest variety of any other makeup, with every shade available. It’s also the most versatile of all the makeup; it can be as basic as a sheer tint of coverage, or combined with other properties to create a makeup that targets specific problems. Most traditional makeup is sweat, tear and transfer resistant. Traditional makeup is ideal for clients who need very full coverage, or have facial hair as the product can be pressed into the skin.

Q: How do I prepare for a makeup application from Bri Stein Artistry?

A: It is very important to have your skin in the best possible condition. Arrive with thoroughly cleansed skin to ensure there is no makeup residue left over. Skin and lips should be exfoliated, and moisturized prior to makeup application to ensure a smooth and flawless complexion. We will use products according to your skin type and concerns to create the best look for you. Refrain from using any new products in your skin care regime, skin treatments or  waxing for 2-4 weeks prior to the appointment due to possible allergic reactions. It can take weeks for skin to heal from an allergic reaction. Please notify us if you have any allergies prior to makeup application.

Q: Do you offer hair styling, waxing services or eyelash extensions?

A: We currently only specializes in makeup artistry but we are partnered with professionals in the area and can make recommendations to accommodate your needs.

Q: I'm new at this, should I tip?

A:  Gratuities are left to the discretion of the client and are not reflected in pricing.

Q: Do you offer eyes only or partial services?

A: We do not offer eyes only or partial services as the professional beauty look includes full makeup that is absolutely photograph ready! We want you looking your best throughout the whole event!
